Growing Up: Work Trips, Two Jobs, & No Time

This past month has been one of my busiest.

It has also consisted of some tasks that I would qualify as adultish tasks. Including taking my car in for an oil change, booking my own dentist appointment, and a work trip to Idaho.

Yes, you heard that right! A work trip to Idaho! I can hardly believe it myself, and it already happened. It included a flight there and back, a hotel room with two beds just for me, and reimbursed meals. If you want to boost my ego, that is one way to do it. In other updates to my life, I have had to adjust my normal routine and cut down my lazy time significantly. Working 32+ hours at my regular grocery store, to also working 19 hours at my marketing internship, plus my four classes. I take pride in saying that I am a full-time student working two jobs. I wear that title like it's a badge of honor. Sure, 4 hours of sleep isn't what I imagined going along with this badge, but everything has a pull and a push. Without the negative, I wouldn't be able to fully recognize and appreciate the positive. I will choose appreciation at every step because life is continuously moving, whether I like it or not.
